Data & Data Analysis for Project Professionals Foundation Level (CPD)

Data & Data Analysis course (CPD)

Data is at the heart of almost any business. Companies worth billions creating terabytes of data every day all the way down to the Etsy seller working out of their spare room. In your business you might be dealing with clients’ data, or just your own. No matter what you do, understanding how to use your data, and keep it safe, is more important than ever before.

But the way data works, and how it should be leveraged, is always changing. When running a team with a data-driven project to work on, you can’t afford to fall behind.

If you’re looking to gain more experience in data collection and data management, or just feel like you need a refresher, our data analysis course is just what you need.

What is Data Analysis?

Data analysis involves collecting, managing, and working with data to solve a problem or boost efficiency within your business.

A key and everyday use of data in projects is to develop robust "should costs" and cost estimates. Getting this right is crucial for project success. This course offers an introduction and lens to using data effectively in cost estimating.

Data analysis involves a lot more than just the collection of data. A data analyst can assess the data, clean it to make it more relevant, and then incorporate it into their projects. There’s a lot of nuance involved with data, which is why data analyst courses like ours are so valuable.

The Importance of Data Analysis Courses

There are a lot of courses in data analysis available online, but very few cover all bases. You might learn a lot about data collection and management and leave the course brimming with new know-how. Then you put that knowledge into action and gather a lot of valuable data for your project. But then what?

If the data analyst course you chose didn’t teach you how to use the data you collect, it’s only done half the job it was meant to. There are also courses on data security and data maturity – both important parts of data analysis, but not as useful if you missed the basics.

To cover all aspects of data, as well as the best methods, our data analysis course is all you need.
